Depot Boijmans van Beuningen
Depot Boijmans is the ultimate spot to take your perfect Instagram photos! An 8-minute walk from It's a present you will see the immense building of mirrors. Here you can see the entire skyline of Rotterdam, especially during the sunset this is beautiful.
The museum contains more than 151,000 collected works of art that they have collected over a period of 172 years. The Depot is open to the public inside, since November 6, 2021 you can view the building indoors! No time to go inside? Don't worry! From the outside, the building is also amazing and still Instagram worthy ;)

Did you know that around the corner from the Depot you can be in the Kunsthal within 2 seconds. The museum is full of modern art, highly recommended!

House Sonneveld
At first, many people walk past Huis Sonneveld and do not realize how special this house actually is. But the house is one of the best preserved houses in the style of Het Nieuwe Bouwen. You can see this especially well from the inside!
The house was built between 1932 and 1933 by architect Leendert van der Vlugt on behalf of AH Sonneveld. If you are in the vicinity of Huis Sonneveld, a visit is definitely worth it!

You can't miss the Street art in the Witte de With! Our neighborhood is known for its wonderful art, which gives our street its unique atmosphere. The street art is not only fun to look at, but also perfect for your Instagram shots and Tiktoks!
You will be especially amazed at the amount of art when you also take in the alleys!

Warung Mini
Looking for a nice budget restaurant? We have to say that Warung Mini is not the trendiest place, but at Warung Mini you eat the tastiest dishes for a small price! You wouldn't say it, but you pay an average of around 13 euros for a meal. Our favorite is Soato soup, Warung Mini is also well known for this among the Rotterdammers! But not to forget the vegetarians, the Vega Roti Roll is also highly recommended. Can you use a tasty bite after shopping? Then this eatery is only a few minutes' walk from It's a present. And then you have a delicious meal for a top price!

Ter Marsh & Co
Eat the tastiest burgers in town at Ter Marsch & Co! For a nice lunch, between all the culture and shopping, this is the place to be. The restaurant finds quality meat from the region very important and you can certainly taste it!
They have been on Witte de Withstraat since 1890. At the time it was called "Factory of the Preserved Meats", super hip for that time! So definitely worth a visit if you fancy a delicious burger with artisan fries. A nice tip from us, The Gojira burger!

Super Mercado
Are you not averse to a delicious cocktail? Then you are in the right place with this Latin American kitchen. After work we prefer to drink a nice cocktail here, not too much of course ;)! They have a lot of choice here, from Argentinian ribeye to Mexican tacos. This restaurant gives you a real street food vibe, but the little kids can also enjoy themselves here in the 'Mini Mercado'. So all hip parents pay attention ;)!

The ice maker
This trendy ice cream shop has many different flavors of ice cream! But we are the biggest fan of the flavor caramel sea salt. This shop is not as old-fashioned as most ice cream shops, on the contrary! When you walk into the store, you quickly notice that there are order boards, where you can enter your order at any time. And even the interior looks hip and unique!
Another advantage; the shop is open until late. So if you like Spanish times for dinner, you still have your dessert!
